Life and Who I am
Do you ever get a point where you just forget who you are? Where one day you feel like everything in your life just fits right, you know exactly who you want to be; than the next you don’t even remember who you are or what it was that you stood for? You can’t pin point exactly what it was that messed you but one day you are different. It really takes the closests people to you to make you realize who you had become, but it is the getting back that is the hard part. The people and temptations that held on so hard to you before are always there, encouraging you to make the wrong choice. You struggle and you try so hard, but than you realize something,
There is absolutely nothing you can do.
You don’t have enough strength.
You are too weak.
There is only one thing that can help us, one thing that is bigger than us, stronger than us. His name is God and he is here to help us. He is here to make everything better, fix all of these wrongs, fight off all of these temptations.
You realize this but instead of feeling weak or inferior; you are filled with this wonderful sense of relief. This sense that finally everything is going to be right. You can relax and not have to try so hard.
The best part is the people that you disappointed, the ones that were hurt the most when you lost who you were, are still there. They never gave up on you. That’s how you know they love you, That’s how you know how precious you really are to them.
Welcome Home, Jessica.
